Hi All!

The beautiful weather is here and it’s time for some fun!!  Come join us this Thursday June, 9^th at 12:30pm for our first BOCCE BALL TOURNAMENT!! I bet you’re thinking “How do you even play bocce ball????”, well don’t worry, watch this video for a brief overview of the rules! A more detailed overview of the rules, regulations, and strategies will be explained prior to the start of the tournament. If you feel you need this extra explanation, please arrive 15 minutes early so we have sufficient time to explain the rules in greater detail and take any questions you may have.

Gather 2-4 of your closest McKinley friends/coworkers/bosses/etc. to form a team. Create a team name and an approximate 1-10 ranking of your skill level as a team (1 being no experience and 10 being expert). Email me (Beau) your team players (first and last name), team name and collective skill level by the END OF THE DAY TUESDAY JUNE, 7^th.  Each game will take approximately 15 min.  There will be a tournament game sheet where you will be able to view what time your team is playing so you can schedule your day accordingly.

Bocce ball is a great way to relieve stress during this busy time of year. It’s also a great way to interact with some coworkers you don’t get to see that often. Bocce ball is considered a social sport and is a great way to let loose and have some fun! But, if you need more convincing, look no further, there will be prizes rewarded to the winning team!  (If you’re looking for a way to gain an advantage, practicing on a pool table is great practice)
